úuchben Kaab & Textil
Úuchben Kaab and Úuchben Textil were founded by Blanca Itzá, who draws inspiration from nature — especially from bees — honoring them as symbols of beauty, spirituality, and ancestral connection to the land.
Her creations revive endangered textile techniques and embody a dialogue between the natural and the sacred, weaving together identity, resilience, and harmony with the Earth.
The Melipona beecheii, native to the Yucatán Peninsula, is vital for the ecosystem — pollinating endemic and food plants such as coffee, habanero chili, and a vast variety of grains, seeds, and fruits.
Blanca has showcased her work at Runway LatinX (October 2025), part of Chicago Fashion Week.
